It’s been reported that Jeff Hanneman of Slayer died yesterday due to liver failure. He was 49. Hanneman was a founding member of the band. The guitarist co-wrote “Raining Blood”, the song the band is most famous for. Hanneman stopped touring with Slayer when he became sick in 2011.
It's a sad day for music. Our thoughts go out to his friends and family.
