It’s Hangover Thursday, how’s your head? Today for Hangover Thursday we’re serving up a song by the band the Rumjacks. While it sounds like a happy Irish punk song it has a lot to say about some of the so called “Irish bars” that are out there. You know the bar; they put an Irish flag on their sign, changed the name, and hope the cash comes rolling in.
The Rumjacks are an interesting group. The Australian band is currently on an indefinite break after their lead singer was sentenced to 16 months in prison due to an assault charge. Horrible luck for a band who was just signed to ABC Music’s imprint FOUR. Regardless of their personal background the song is amazing and needs to be heard.
