Maurice Sendak

Sad news today. Maurice Sendak, best known for his book “Where the Wild Things Are” has passed away. He was 83.

I don’t think it will come to anyone’s surprise that as a kid a book full of giant monsters was one of my favorites. Hopefully my son will enjoy it as much as I did. I think I'm going to be buying it for him tonight.  Last year saw the release of “Bumble-Ardy”, the first book in thirty years that Sendak and written and illustrated. “My Brother’s Book” is scheduled to be published next February.
